FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
  General & Membership Information
Q. Who are the new owners?
The new owners have a combined 137+ years of business experience ranging from real estate development and improvement, recreation management, sales, physics, farming, and retail stores.

Duane & Shane Munn; Tom and Alex Souvall; and Jared Westhoff are the new owners.  Tom and his son Alex know what the loss of CamperWorld feels like as Tom was an old Beneficial Member.  Duane, Shane and Jared are new to CamperWorld and membership camping having first heard of CamperWorld during the summer of 2017.  All the owners have different backgrounds that when combined makes for a team uniquely qualified to be resurrecting CamperWorld for all who come to enjoy while making memories with their loved ones.
Q. what do I get When I renew Through The New Enrollment Program?
The Enrollment program subscriptions plans are based off of how many nights you want to camp. You choose between one of three basic subscription plans:

20-night Weekend Warrior
35-night Premier Camper
45-night Extreme Camper

Each of these plans gives you 100% off the nightly public rate when you come camping.  Once you hit your allotted nights you get 35% off the public rate for each additional night during the year.  Both the Weekend Warrior Plan and the Premier Camper plans come with a $7/night utility charge.  The Extreme Camper plan nightly utility fee is waived.
Q. How many people per site can I have as an Enrolled Member?
Enrolled Members can have up to 10 people per site of which the first 8 are part of the reservation and only the last two are subject to the extra person fee. Currently the extra person fee is only $3/person.
Q. Can I take my dogs with me to the park?
Yes. Enrollment Members get two pets per site included in your reservation.
Q. How much does it cost me per night to camp under the New program?
You Save MORE than 50% on your nightly camping with our NEW Enrollment Program!

Based on a base rate of $49/night + taxes and any extra people fees the public rate would be:
The 20-night Weekend Warrior plan costs you $32/night (Estimated Savings of $33/night)
The 35-night Premier Camper plan costs you $30/night (Estimated Savings of $35/night)
The 45-night Extreme Camper plan costs $29/night (Estimated Savings of $36/night)
Q.  What if I want to Camp more days than are in my plan?
No problem, you get 35% off the public rate to keep camping or you can move your subscription to a plan that gives you more nights.  Subscriptions plans can change up or down once a year.
Q.  What if I am not going to use my membership for a year or two?
We have an Affiliate Dream/Hold Program that is only $19.99/mo. Simply toggle down to it and when you are ready to get back going move your plan to the desired nights per year you want to camp.  The great thing about this plan is, you still get 35% off the public rate if you find yourself able to get out for a weekend while your plan is on hold.
Q. What does it cost to Renew My membership?
There is a one-time fee, for a limited time discounted to prior members of only $995 and a setup fee of $199 to enroll in Echo Island, Knotty Pine and Pleasant Creek (a $6,000 value). *This plan is designed for Returning Members to be able to have it paid for with the savings membership camping brings in the 1st year for Premier Campers and Extreme Campers.  It only takes a 1.5 years for Weekend Warriors to pay for the plan with the savings.  Then you can enjoy camping at less than 50% of the public rate for as long as you want keep coming to the RV Campgrounds.

The 20-night Weekend Warrior Basic Plan is estimated to save you $33/night for $661/yr. in savings.

Q. How many nights long can a reservation be?
Each reservation can be for seven nights.  Reservations can be stacked back to back but no more than two in a row unless otherwise agreed to CamperWorld management. .
Q. Can I be Assessed as an Enrolled Member?
Nope. Enrolled Members purchase a discount to stay at the parks and cannot be charged assessments.
Q. Why did the new company  keep the CamperWorld name?
The new company, Osiris, LLC's owners had not intended to keep the CamperWorld name until a park inspection before committing to buy the parks.  One of the of the new owners observed an old manager and several previous members discussing the good old days from the 80’s and 90’s.  It was an emotional moment to see that CamperWorld, during the 80's, 90's and early 2000's was not just RV parks, it was a family. A family that operated well with many fond memories for its past members for 30+ years.  Then the bad years of mismanagement entered the picture which hurt everyone.  We dug into the records and history.  Removing the emotion, we realized the name CamperWorld had nothing to do with the down fall, rather some bad business management/practices caused its demise!  At that time new owners decided to continue with the purchase the CamperWorld name as well as the RV Campgrounds.  While we operate under the name CamperWorld to identify with the 30+ good years that predated the bad ones we are a totally different company, model and culture!  You need to look no further than the money the new company has put into the parks, staff and work to bring those who love the RV Campground back to make memories with their friends and loved  ones in the Parks again. Add the way we operate and you will see the only thing in common is the Parks and Name.
Q. Is the Former president or any of the old Retrailia staff still involved with camperWorld?
No, the former President and old Retrailia staff are not involved in any way.  When we first bought the parks we did get the help of some of the old staff for a few months as part of the transition.
